These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all bookings, projects, and services provided by Legacy Bodyworks Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) to the client (“you”, “your”). By booking our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Services
2.1 Scope of Services: We provide a wide range of vehicle services, including but not limited to bodywork repairs, restoration, refinishing, detailing, customisation, modification, and related services (the "Services").
2.2 Project Types: Services may be provided for individual vehicles, fleet projects, commercial contracts, or bespoke work as agreed upon at the time of booking.
2.3 Service Availability: All Services are subject to availability and may be subject to change or discontinuation at our discretion. We will notify you in the event of any significant changes to the scope or availability of services.
3. Bookings and Agreements
3.1 Booking Confirmation: A booking is considered confirmed once we have acknowledged and accepted the order, either verbally, electronically, or in writing, and upon receipt of any agreed advance payment.
3.2 Scope of Work: The specific work to be carried out will be detailed in the written estimate or quotation, which will form part of the agreement. Any changes or amendments must be agreed upon in writing.
3.3 Project Milestones: For large or ongoing projects, we may establish specific milestones and timelines for the completion of certain tasks. Delays in meeting these milestones will be communicated promptly, and we will notify you of any potential project extensions.
4. Pricing and Payment
4.1 Pricing: All prices are in GBP (£) and exclude VAT, unless stated otherwise. Prices are subject to change until a booking is confirmed.
4.2 Estimates and Quotations: Quotes are provided based on an initial assessment and are subject to revision should additional work be required once the project begins. Any changes to the original quote will be discussed and agreed upon in writing before proceeding.
4.3 Payment Terms: Payment for services is due in advance, at the completion of key milestones, or as otherwise agreed. We reserve the right to require a deposit or advance payment for certain services.
4.4 Late Payments: Late payments will incur an interest charge of 8% per annum over the Bank of England base rate, calculated from the date the payment was due until the date of receipt.
4.5 Payment Methods: We accept payments via bank transfer, credit card, cash or other methods agreed upon at the time of booking.
5. Cancellations and Changes
5. Cancellations and Changes
5.1 Standard Cancellation
You may cancel a booking by providing at least thirty (30) days’ written notice prior to the scheduled project start date.
5.2 Late Cancellation (Over 30-Day Bookings)
Where cancellation is made with less than thirty (30) days’ notice, a cancellation charge of ten percent (10%) of the total booking value shall be payable. This charge represents a genuine pre-estimate of administrative costs, lost business, and reserved workshop time.
5.3 Short-Notice Bookings (Made Within 30 Days of Start Date)
Where a booking is made less than thirty (30) days prior to the scheduled start date, the client must provide a minimum of forty-eight (48) hours’ written notice to cancel.
5.4 Failure to Provide 48 Hours’ Notice
If a short-notice booking is cancelled with less than forty-eight (48) hours’ notice, ten percent (10%) of the total booking value shall be immediately chargeable and payable.
5.5 Non-Attendance / Failure to Deliver Vehicle
Failure to attend, deliver the vehicle, or make the vehicle available on the agreed start date without the required notice shall be treated as a late cancellation and charged in accordance with this clause.
5.6 Refunds
Any refunds due will be processed within a reasonable time and will be issued less any applicable cancellation charges.
6. Client Responsibilities
6.1 Accurate Information: You are responsible for providing us with complete, accurate, and up-to-date information about the vehicle(s) and/or project. This includes specifications, damage details, and any relevant history.
6.2 Vehicle Condition: For vehicle-related services, the vehicle must be in a roadworthy and safe condition before work begins. We reserve the right to refuse to begin work if the vehicle is deemed unsafe.
6.3 Personal Items: You must remove all personal belongings from the vehicle before the start of the service. We accept no responsibility for any loss or damage to personal items left in the vehicle.
6.4 Access and Availability: You agree to provide us with access to your vehicle, property, or location at the agreed times. Any delays due to failure to provide timely access may result in delays or additional charges.
7. Liability
7.1 Limitation of Liability:
Our liability is limited to the total value of the Services provided, except in cases of death, personal injury, or fraud, where liability cannot be limited under UK law.
We are not responsible for any indirect, consequential, or special damages arising from the work, including but not limited to loss of use or business interruption.
7.2 Force Majeure: We are not liable for any delays, damages, or failure to complete the project on time due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, such as acts of God, fires, floods, strikes, or supply chain disruptions.
7.3 Insurance: It is your responsibility to ensure that your vehicle or property is adequately insured for the work being carried out. We recommend consulting your insurance provider if necessary.
8. Intellectual Property
8.1 All content provided by us, including images, designs, logos, reports, and other materials, remains the intellectual property of Legacy Bodyworks Ltd. You are not permitted to reproduce, distribute, or use such content without our prior written consent.
9. Data Protection
9.1 Privacy Policy: We process personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
9.2 By booking our services, you agree that we may collect, store, and process your personal information in line with our Privacy Policy, which is available on our website.
10. Termination
10.1 We may terminate the agreement with immediate effect if you breach any of the Terms, including failure to make timely payments, or if you engage in fraudulent or unlawful conduct.
10.2 In the event of termination, you will remain liable for any work already completed, and we reserve the right to charge for any work-in-progress up to the point of termination.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
11.1 These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
11.2 Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
12. Acceptance of Terms
By confirming your booking or commencing a project with Legacy Bodyworks Ltd, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions in full.
